Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and bilingual Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese to join our local banking team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in banking or financial customer service who is passionate about delivering excellent client support in a culturally diverse environment.
Deliver exceptional service to customers in English and Mandarin or Cantonese, both in-person and over the phone.
Process a wide range of financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments.
Assist customers with account inquiries, maintenance, new account openings, and closures.
Leverage your experience to identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.
Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure accuracy and security of cash drawer, following all compliance protocols.
Mentor or assist less-experienced tellers when needed; help foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken required; written Chinese a plus).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a bank teller or financial customer service role.
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in business, finance, or accounting is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
Proven ability to handle cash and transactions accurately and efficiently.
Comfortable using banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
